This painting is copied after a Kuniyoshi wood block print.
It is true to the original, including the perspective that makes it appear that the boats are about to collide. The
only significant change is that each figure has a completely different kimono. The original is 36 by 72 inches,
in acrylic, with airbrush used for the sky, clouds, water and fog. Note the small hands of the figures and the interlocking
wood slats on the roof of the boat.
